I wanna know the basics of Christianity

There are four main parts to the most basic theory of Christianity:

1. Man is sinful
2. We are separated from God because of our sin.
3. God sent his son Jesus Christ to earth to die for our sins.
4. Believing in Jesus is the only way to cross the divide between man and God.

To understand Christianity in a deeper way, read more below:

Christ's Person: Jesus Christ claimed to be the unique son of God. He claimed, in essence that he was God. He lived a completely sinless and selfless life to the point where he gave his life by dying on a cross. Three days later he was resurrected from the dead. He is all-loving and all-powerful.

Man's Need: As we said above, man is sinful because of original sin. We are sinful by nature. The consequence of our sin is eternal death, unless we believe in and form a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Christ's Work: Essentially by dying on the cross, Jesus paid the eternal penalty for all those that would chose to believe in him. God loved us so much that he sacrificed his own son so that we may know him. Our salvation is found in Jesus, all you have to do is believe and ask him to come into your life.

Man's Response: We each have to decide for ourselves if we are willing to believe in Jesus and follow him with our whole lives. We are told that it will not be easy, but that it will be more than worth it. If you would like to make a decision today, please see our prayer page where we have a suggestion prayer for salvation. Please contact us or talk to someone you know that is a Christian if you are making this important decision today. Also, see our resources page to find out where you can get more information on God, Jesus and the Christian faith.
